1st Equity Appoints New Chief Financial Officer
NEW YORK - January 26, 2021- The 1st Equity team is pleased to announce and welcome Michael J. Angerhauser to the team as the new Chief Financial Officer. Angerhauser brings 25 years of experience and combined business and tax advisory services to the 1st Equity team.
As Chief Financial Officer (CFO), he will work with 1st Equity’s leadership team to further secure market opportunities and accelerate the company’s growth. Angerhauser will be responsible for improving cross-team performance and streamlining operations between all brands and entrepreneurial ventures associated with 1st Equity. In addition to leading Finance, Accounting and Human Resources, Angerhauser will serve as a financial and strategic business advisor to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and the broader leadership team.

Prior to joining 1st Equity, Michael was the CEO of his full-service public accounting firm, Michael J. Angerhauser, CPA PLLC. He was a Director at Adam Shay, CPA PPLC, Principal at Berdon, LLP, Senior Director at Navigant Consulting, Director at Daylight Forensic & Advisory LLC, Manager at KPMG LLP’s Forensic Practice, and a New York City Police Department Lieutenant.

Angerhauser holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the NYU Stern School of Business and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York and North Carolina.
